Overview
canusign is the signature where the recipient can check for themselves that the document is genuine and unchanged. No subscription, no account for signers, paid per document.
The flow
- 1Upload a PDF: a finished document, for example a contract written in Word and saved as PDF.
- 2People and fields: you decide who signs and place signature, initials and date for each person.
- 3Finalize and share: everyone with an e-mail address gets a personal link. Everyone else you reach with the shared link.
- 4Sign: signers open the link in their browser and sign, without an account.
- 5Download: once everyone has signed, you download the PDF with its audit certificate. Any recipient can check it on the verification page.
What it costs
One document costs €1.49, from €0.50 in a pack. With Pro at €15 a month you do not pay per document. A new account gets its first document free. You pay when you finalize, not when you download. Signers pay nothing and need no account.
Which signature you get
Simple electronic signature under eIDAS, valid where the law does not require a handwritten signature or notarisation. Where the law does, it is not enough, so check the form rules for your contract before you send it.
What carries the proof
- Verification page: any recipient compares the PDF with the version stored with us.
- Timestamp from DigiCert under RFC 3161, embedded in the PDF.
- Audit certificate at the end of the PDF, with time and method of every signature.
- Servers in Frankfurt: application, database and files stay in the EU.
